1st rough for a multiple figure comp.
Flat composition here; was concentrating on characters....
trying out ideas for people in transit.

Think it might be possible to create a series based on this theme.

I like this little one too.
It's a change for me to use soft woolly
strokes, lots of fun.
This is one that I put in the exhibition and sold!!! It was a real thrill. A couple of my friends sold a work each too, I'm even more thrilled for them. It's a great confidence builder.
Plus Mars bought her portrait too, as she really loves it. It's fantastic when the sitter agrees with your interpretation of them.
All fired up to do more work now....just loving it!

This is the latest in the portrait series. Not exactly perfect despite scrapping & repainting...I'll just have to try again later. Liked the colour ways though, found Indian yellow great. I'd never used it before!

There you go, the 2 colour portrait + white of course! Think it's come up well. Just 2 more restricted palette combinations to go now. Might need a new volunteer for the last one....anyone want a portrait? Then I'll have to find/devise some new challenge. Any ideas, friends?
I've been doing a bit of mental percolation but nothing has fallen out yet.

Saw the final year NAS students exhibition yesterday. It was great, loved so much of the work, everyone was quite different from each other which made it very exciting.Very inspiring!!!!!
